Tamilnadu Open University invites applications for admission from eligible candidates for the Bachelor of Education in Special Education (B.Ed SE) for the year 2011-2013,
   * Educational qualification in - service teachers have a bachelor's degree in English or Tamil or Physics or Mathematics or Chemistry or History or Zoology or Geography Botany or computer science or PG degree in Home Science or Economics or Commerce.
  * Teaching experience: minimum 2 years experience in teaching in schools in Tamil Nadu (nursery / primary / secondary / Matriculation School) by the Government of Tamil Nadu / Government of India only and acceptance is based on points earned entrance examinations for candidates in Tamil Nadu TNOU.
   * Seats for candidates belonging to OC, BC, MBC or DNC, SC or ST communities and people with disabilities (physical and visual) is subject to the conditions and the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Tamilnadu Open University can get straightly prospectus and application of the B.Ed. Special Education Learning Centres or "The Registrar, TNOU", on Rupee 500 / - or by sending a demand draft of Rupee 550 / - for the "Tamil Nadu Open University" payable at Chennai by post.
  * Issuing Date of Application Form: 17 Aug. 2011.
  * End Date of issue of Application & Recepit: September 19, 2011.
  * Tamil Nadu entrance exam : Oct. 9, 2011.
