B.Ed Programme StructureThe Programme consists of the following four groups of Courses: Group-A Core Courses Group-B Content-based Methodology Courses Group-C Special Courses Group-D Practical Courses The Programme comprises 48 credits Course Description Group-A : There will be 5 Core Courses (20 Credits – 15 for theory & 5 for practicals) All the five core courses are compulsory for all:
Group-B: Content-based Methodology Course (8 Credits - 6 for theory and 2 for practicals) There will be 5 Content-Based Methodology courses relating to school subjects, out of which any two Courses (each 4 credits – 3 Theory + 1 Practical) are to be chosen:
Group-C : Special Course (4 Credits – 3 Theory + 1 Practical) There will be 4 Special Courses. The candidate will choose any one Course:
Theory-based Practical Assignments: In each of the above 8 Courses of Group A, B and C opted by the learner, one credit out of the four is assigned to the Practical Assignment. Group-D : Practical Courses (16 Credits) There are 3 Practical Courses. All are compulsory
